Practising without a PREM

If you are practising without a PREM (in the public system, not private practice):

  • Your compensation will be cut back by 30%;
  • You will have to wait five years before applying for a compliance notice in that region. You do not accumulate seniority when practising without a compliance notice.
  • But, if you obtain a compliance notice in another region and work there for three years, you will subsequently be able to apply for a position in the region where you practised without a PREM
