Presentation of Our Brief to the Parliamentary Committee on Bill 15: Yes to Health Reform, But Not on the Back of the Next Generation of Doctors

Resident doctors are ready to reshape the health system, to make it more efficient for the benefit of the population and more stimulating for the professionals who work there. But for that, it is still necessary to give them a place in their own right without condition of unfair or discriminatory practice as, very unfortunately, the government proposes with in particular article 392 of the bill and other provisions which limit the professional autonomy of physicians.

This is what the FMRQ has expressed, among other issues, at the April 19 2023 Parliamentary Commission on Bill 15, an act to make the health and social services system more effective (in French only).
